Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Refunds (Services & Subscriptions)

All paid subscriptions and one-time service fees are non-refundable once the service is activated, except where required by Indian consumer law.
If you are charged in error or there is a proven double payment, a full refund will be issued within 7–14 working days to your original payment method, after a support ticket is raised within 7 days of the transaction.
Service interruptions, downgraded plans, or technical issues reported within 24 hours may be eligible for partial credits or discounts toward future billing, at our discretion.

2. Cancellations

You can cancel subscriptions/plans any time via Account Settings; cancellation will take effect from the next billing period.
Paid features remain accessible until the end of the current subscription cycle; no pro-rata refunds for early cancellation.
If the platform or category is discontinued, unused days may be refunded automatically per RBI guidelines.

3. No Refunds For:

Fraud, abuse, or violations of Terms/Policy
Account bans or deletions for policy violations
Services availed under promotions or free trials
Non-usage of renewable paid features

Acceptable Use Policy

Use Uplynk India only for lawful purposes: buy/sell, recruit/hire, social connection, event participation.
DO NOT abuse, harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or spam any user.
Prohibited: pornography, hate speech, scams, misinformation, illegal or stolen items, data scraping, unauthorized automation.
Do not use bots or scripts to post or scrape listings/data.
DO NOT advertise third-party products/services in forums unless approved.
Platform has the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these standards, without prior notice.

API Terms

Use of any Uplynk India APIs (current/future) is subject to prior approval, explicit written permission, and compliance with data privacy law.
Do not use APIs to scrape, download, or republish data outside permitted use.
Automated calls must respect rate limits; excessive, abusive, or unauthorized API access will result in IP ban and/or legal action.
All API keys are personal/non-transferrable and remain property of Uplynk India.
Resale or redistribution of API data is strictly prohibited.
Breach of these terms will result in termination of access and legal liability.

Cookie Policy

Uplynk India uses cookies to ensure website functionality, understand usage, remember preferences, and display personalized ads.
Essential (required): login, account session, fraud prevention.
Analytics: Google Analytics to track and improve website performance.
Marketing: Facebook Pixel and similar for showing relevant ads (if permitted).

User-Generated Content

You affirm your content does not infringe others’ rights or Indian law. You are responsible for your posts and interactions. Uplynk India is not liable for inaccurate, illegal, or misleading user content.

Prohibited Uses

Users cannot:

Scrape or harvest data
Re-sell or re-use content or platform data without written permission
Post spam, impersonate, harass, or engage in illegal/unethical activities

Content Moderation

Uplynk India reserves absolute right to remove, edit, or refuse content at any time. Offending or illegal accounts may be suspended/deleted.

Copyright/DMCA Notice

If you believe your copyright is infringed, email grievance@uplynkindia.com (with details of ownership and the content for takedown).

Retention/Analytics

Data is retained per Indian legal requirements
